Fainting is
a medical condition when a person experiences loss of consciousness in a
temporary time and generally occurs suddenly. Fainting also often causes a
person to fall suddenly. Fainting can be regarded as a common medical condition
experienced by many people and according to research 2 of 5 people have
experienced fainting. Our brain has several parts, namely the two hemispheres
of the brain, the cerebellum, and the brainstem. In order to work properly, our
brain needs blood flow to provide oxygen and glucose to the cells in the brain.
Fainting will occur when the reticular activating system or both hemispheres of
the brain are deficient in blood, oxygen, or glucose.
Generally
fainting experienced by people under the age of 40 years. If a person often
fainted at the age above 40 years then it could be that condition indicates a
serious condition of health problems.
In addition
to sudden loss of consciousness, fainting is also often followed by other
symptoms, such as:
*The body
experiences a cold sweat
*Often
yawning
*Stomach
feels nauseated
*Dazed
*The view
becomes blurred
*Ears
ringing
Generally
after a few seconds someone who fainted will soon regain consciousness. If you
come across someone who has fainted for more than 2 minutes then you should
seek medical help immediately. A person who has been conscious of fainting will
usually feel confused or absent for about 30 minutes.

Then do you
often experience fainting? If yes, then it could be some of the following
factors are the cause:
1. Reactions on the Vagus Nerve
Generally
fainting is often caused by a vagal nerve reaction that connects the digestive
system to the brain and has the role of managing blood flow to the brain as
well as the intestines. Stimulant excessive vagus nerve will cause the heart
rate to slow down and blood pressure decreases. As a result the blood supply to
the brain will decrease and cause a person to faint. This vagus nerve reaction
will usually be triggered by several conditions, such as stress, excessive
anxiety, panic, fear, and pain that is too strong.
2. Sudden
Blood Pressure Changes
Frequent
fainting can also be caused by changes in blood pressure. In certain
circumstances, the heart and blood vessels are unable to react quickly when the
oxygen demand for the body changes suddenly. It causes a person to faint. The
condition is usually experienced by people who are elderly and also people who
have a history of certain medical disorders such as diabetes. In addition,
working too hard beyond the ability can also cause the body's oxygen needs to
change suddenly and cause fainting.
